We are integrative therapists which means that as well as having our own preferred styles, we can draw on a number of approaches to suit you.
We are all qualified to post-graduate level, fully insured, and are registered members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
We adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework - a set of principles and values that ensure safe and ethical practice.

Hi I'm Stephen,
I aim to provide an empathic and non-judgemental counselling space where you can feel free to discuss whatever is troubling you. Counselling offers the opportunity to be heard, and it can also help us to see problems from a different perspective and to begin finding ways of integrating difficult feelings and experiences. In doing so, we can live with greater authenticity. I work with an integrative approach which is client centred and adopts different ways of working according to your needs. In this way, the therapeutic relationship becomes more important than any particular theory of counselling.

I have worked in the NHS and in teaching and I am interested in work related issues such as stress and the pressures of the work environment. Working in different fields and changing roles has given me insights into the challenges of work and career change. Having lived and worked in various parts of the world, including Sudan, Egypt and Japan, I am interested in our relationship with our own and other cultures, and how we find meaning and a place in the world as an outsider.

As well as my own practice I work in the NHS counselling service.

Hi, I'm Sally.

I can provide a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive space for you to talk about anything you want to. Therapy can provide the opportunity for you to connect with your feelings, identify your own values, find meaning, and gain the courage to change your life if you want to. I work in an integrative way which means I can adapt my approach to suit your own individual needs. However, I lean strongly towards existential and person-centred therapy placing you as the expert on your life and looking at the here-and now, who we are and how we want to live.

You may feel that something is not quite right in your life or have a feeling of not being good enough. I offer a safe space where we can look at these things together. I can be by your side as you grapple with uncomfortable feelings, self-acceptance or difficult relationships. My life experience also makes me well placed to help people going through life changes and struggling with loss.

When I was a science teacher in East London, I gained a wide range of experience with people from all different backgrounds, interests, ages, genders and ethnicities. My job in a Sixth Form College gave me an understanding of a wide range of issues faced by young people starting out in life. I enjoy learning and my interest in physics fuels an interest in philosophy as another type of exploration into the world and how we understand our place within it.
As well as my own practice I have been a therapist in a low-cost counselling service and a volunteer bereavement counsellor for a local hospice.

Hello I’m Andie,
I offer a unique helping relationship that gives you space to find new strategies for coping with difficulty and relief at times of loss and deep emotional pain. Sessions aim to help you make sense of struggle and find relief and contentment in your life. Whether you are facing divorce, job loss or bereavement or are suffering with depression or anxiety, we will work together to build hope and resolve underlying emotional pain in a safe and supportive way that enables you to balance healing alongside your day-to-day life.
My work is trauma-informed and takes the view that we all carry unresolved trauma from events and relationships in our lives. As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist I work with your goals and preferences in mind and offer knowledge and techniques derived from various psychotherapeutic models where they fit. For example I offer both cognitive strategies as well as emotionally-focused interventions and aim to work at relational depth.
As well as being a fully qualified therapist based in Norfolk, I have trained and worked in campaigning, animal welfare and social justice issues and have a passion for human behavioural science. As a child of the 80s and 90s from a rural Nottinghamshire upbringing, I have a particular interest in how our experience of privilege in our families of origins colours our ability to accept trauma and cope with loss. I also greatly value my work with clients from different social contexts and tend to see issues of difference and identity emerge within the therapeutic to leverage self-awareness and growth. I have also been a Samaritans Listening Volunteer and am keen to help people who struggle with low self-worth, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts.

As I am not based in London I offer sessions online via Zoom. I offer a free 15-minute initial call to check availability or a 30-minute initial assessment session for 15.00 to allow additional time to give you a sense of counselling. If we decide to work together I will send you a contract to review.
